For HCPs

Letairis (ambrisentan) is a prescription medicine used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), which is high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs.

Lisa’s PAH Story includes Letairis

In clinical studies, Letairis has shown it can benefit people with PAH. In studies, people who took Letairis showed:

“After...therapy on Letairis, my doctor did a six-minute walk test on me. Told me the results were much better.”

Everybody’s experiences with Letairis treatment are different. Talk with your doctor to discuss how he or she will track your individual progress.

Letairis is a pill that is taken for the treatment of PAH once a day. Having to take one Letairis pill a day may make it easier to remember to take your dose. It can also decrease the total number of pills you have to take in a day.

“Letairis is one pill taken once a day, so I just separate out seven pills into my pill case…and it also helps me to remember to take it at the same time every day. And now Letairis is just part of my routine.”

You may experience side effects when you’re taking Letairis. If you have any side effects, please talk to your doctor. He or she can potentially help you manage the side effects.

“I’ve had some side effects of swelling while I’ve been on Letairis, but they’ve been controlled with medication that my doctor prescribed.”
